The Savini family has had a love for truffle hunting in Tuscany since the 1920s, when Giuseppe Savini and his dog would search for truffles in their free time. It was his son, Zelindo, who turned the hobby into a profession. Zelindo procured prized foods such as wild game and white truffles for a local lord’s estate, until one day when he decided to work for himself. The rest is history!
