Tonnarelli pasta is the Lazio region's version of Maccheroni alla Chitarra from Abruzzo. It it is a long egg pasta that is thicker than spaghetti; almost like bucatini pasta, except with no hole in the center. One of the most common ways to enjoy this Italian pasta is by using it in a cacio e pepe recipe.
