Scialatielli pasta is a relatively modern pasta, invented by award-winning Chef Enrico Cosentino in 1978. Scialatielli pasta is a flat noodle similar to tagliatelle or fettuccine, but it is much shorter. Because this type of pasta comes from the Amalfi Coast in Italy, which is renowned for its beautiful beaches, Scialatielli is often used in seafood pasta dishes. The most famous seafood pasta dish using this type of pasta is Scialatielli all’Amalfitana, prepared with clams, prawns, and mussels. La Fabbrica Della Pasta Scialatielli al Limone provides the natural flavor accent of lemon, which is known to bring out the best flavors in seafood recipes.
