They have the ability to tolerate exposure to harsh elements, and eat microscopic vegetation and fish that share these sandy habitats. Pasteurized and frozen in 8.8 oz. vacuum pack containers, these clams are ready to eat.
They're also quite convenient and simple to cook. Paellas, pasta, and bean dishes are all terrific ways to use these Mediterranean clams. For a delectable side dish, steam them, add salt, and toss in a large bowl of salad with olive oil and red wine vinegar.
