Bianco Dinapoli's Story
Bianco Dinapoli started as a partnership between the founder of Phoenix's acclaimed Pizzeria Bianco restaurant, Chris Bianco and Rob DiNapoli, whose family has been growing delicious produce in California for over 70 years. The sun and the soil of Northern California give the brand's organic tomatoes a distinct taste that's perfect for sauces. Once they're harvested and washed, the plum-shaped tomatoes are peeled and packed in cans with sea salt, organic basil, and their own juices, sealing in their natural flavor and aroma.
An Award-winning Product
In 2020, named Bianco Dinapoli tomatoes "the best canned tomatoes" by The New York Times. The NYT specifically praised the brand's whole-peeled tomatoes, stating they are "the most balanced tomato, in terms of sweetness and acidity." And in 2022, Chris Bianco won a James Beard Award for being an Outstanding Restaurateur, someone who truly knows the value of seeking out real, delicious ingredients.
All-Natural and Organic Tomatoes
All of Bianco Dinapoli's canned tomatoes are 100% organic. Try these juicy, vibrant tomatoes in a caprese salad. Or enjoy them on a sandwich or in a wrap. You can even use these to prepare some homemade tomato juice.
Buy Whole-peeled or Crushed
Bianco Dinapoli offers both whole-peeled and crushed tomatoes. Their whole-peeled tomatoes can be enjoyed whole in salads, on sandwiches, or as a topping for crostini. Or you can blend or dice them for soups, stews, dips, and sauces. Even out the spice levels of a fiery pot of chili by tossing in a few of these tomatoes. Their crushed tomatoes are a more convenient option if you're planning on making a pasta or pizza sauce, since adding them to a sauce is as easy as opening the can and mixing them with your other ingredients. Supermarket Italy also offers a 102-oz can of their whole tomatoes if you're planning on making enough food for a large gathering or special occasion.
Prepare Robust Mediterranean Recipes
Tomatoes are a staple ingredient in Mediterranean cooking. From sauces to stews to salads, there are numerous ways to make use of Bianco Dinapoli's organic tomatoes. Given that one of their founders is a pizza chef, it's no surprise that they are especially great for creating mouthwatering pizza sauces that bring sweet and savory into absolute harmony. Likewise, you can create a rich marinara sauce or zesty red pesto with a can of their crushed tomatoes. Or cover chicken or pork in a bold tomato sauce. Then, slow-cook in a crockpot or Dutch oven for a delicious dish that can feed a whole family when served over pasta.
