These Marron Glaces are stored in sweet liquor
Use these chestnuts in sugar syrup as a topping for ice cream, cakes, and other desserts.
Enjoy these sweet chestnuts on a dessert platter with fruit and chocolate.
Originating in Northern Italy and Southern France around the 16th century, Marron glacés are candied chestnuts that are both eaten on their own and enjoyed in dessert dishes. These Toschi Marron Glacés are preserved in Liquor and come in a Modi Jar. They are a winter staple in the Mediterranean region.
These sugary, nutty treats are perfect for filling cakes, desserts and yogurt. Superb with fruit salads or Piedmont IGP hazelnuts cake or garnished with whipped cream. These also pair perfectly with Panettone during the Christmas season.
Add Toschi Marron Glacés to a dessert board along with chocolate, fresh fruit, or even roasted chestnuts. Or make them part of any gift basket that features Mediterranean snacks.
