Description
This Milanese Panettone is a buttery dessert
This traditional Italian Christmas cake is made with a generous amount of raisins.
Enjoy this sweet bread on its own, or try it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
The Tre Marie story began in 1896 with the opening of a bakery on the famous shopping street of Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. Tre Marie has carried on making Milanese panettone and other baked goods for over a century, proudly calling themselves “a symbol of the Milanese confectionary tradition.”
Practically every Italian panettone contains at least one type of candied fruit; traditionally candied orange peels. Tre Marie Panettone with Raisins is unique because it is an Italian panettone without any candied fruit, but instead wholly dedicated to the traditional sultana raisins. It is a simple yet delicious Italian cake.
