This type of ham has been produced in the heart of French Basque Country for over 1,000 years. Delpeyrat French Bayonne Boneless Ham is a revered and protected air-cured ham French Prosciutto with a melt in your mouth, rich, fruity, slightly salty flavor. To qualify as a true French Bayonne ham, it must be made only in the Adour River Basin, which lies between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees Mountains. Jambon de Bayonne has its own unique character that separates it from Serrano and Prosciutto. Boneless for your convenience. The flavor and character have been certified by the ”Indication Geographique Protégée” (PGI-Protected Geographical Indication) denomination certifying that the highest quality standards are applied in this traditional curing process. Delpeyrat French bayonne Boneless Hams are rubbed only with salt from Salies de Béarn. On average, these French hams are aged for about seven to 10 months.
