Tuscan Sweets Since 1832
Virgilio Sapori worked as an apothecary in Tuscany almost two centuries ago. He was someone who knew how to combine herbs and natural extracts, and one day he began focusing more on taste. That resulted in the founding of his bakery in 1832. The Sapori company has been producing traditional Tuscan desserts ever since then, from cookies to cakes, using only the best natural ingredients.
What types of Sapori products are there?
Sapori produces a range of Italian cookies and Italian cakes. Panforte, a flat, chewy almond cake packed with candied fruit and topped with powdered sugar, is a classic Italian cake that is a favorite at Christmas. There are also fig and walnut varieties of panforte, as well as mini panforte for snacking. Sapori also makes Italian biscotti, such as cantuccini, ricciarelli, and amaretti cookies.
