San Benedetto mineral water comes from the glaciers of the Dolomites, part of the Italian Alps mountain range. It takes hundreds of years for the water to drip down to an underground reservoir before finally resurfacing near the Natural Park of the River Sile in Treviso. Along the way, the water is enriched with minerals and trace elements. Mineral water benefits may include improved blood circulation and digestive health, because of the presence of magnesium.

Over the years, San Benedetto acquired other sources of quality mineral water, including the Popoli spring and other locations in central Italy. The company also expanded its product line to include sparkling mineral water, the Thé bottled tea line and other soft drinks.
Sustainability Efforts
San Benedetto is one of Italy’s great sustainable brands. In 2008, the company ramped up their dedication to sustainability by launching eco-friendly products. Since then, they’ve worked to reduce and even completely offset their own CO2 emissions. In 2013, the San Benedetto Ecogreen line became the first mineral water to receive a certification from the Ministry of the Environment for its carbon neutral footprint. They’ve also sponsored the planting of thousands of trees in their home area of Scorzè.
