Colavita began when two branches of the Colavita family in Molise started two small businesses. One business was for pressing extra virgin olive oil and the other for making homemade pasta noodles, and both were masters of their trades. Over time, the two branches intertwined, sharing their collective knowledge and leading to one unified Colavita company. The Colavita brand continues to represent the best in Italian products, expanding to include salad dressings, pasta sauces, and charcuterie spreads.
