Founded in 1876, Pastificio Gentile has a rich history of pasta-making in Gragnano. The company’s original focus was fusillo, a traditional pasta made by wrapping a long pasta noodle over a needle and drying it in the warm breeze. Over several decades, Gentile adapted to the revolutionary “Cirillo Method” of drying pasta within heated air racks and also expanded from fusillo to other shapes of pasta noodles.
