Gastone Lago: Delightful Italian Cookies
Since 1968, Gastone Lago has made artisan Italian confections. With a wide selection of wafers, wafer rolls, and crostatine cookies, they have something for everyone to enjoy. Savor these cookies with your morning coffee or tea. Share them with friends and family during picnics, barbecues, and holiday gatherings. Or spread the joy by adding these Italian sweets to a gift basket.
Fruit-filled Crostatine Cookies
Gastone Lago’s signature crostatine cookies are tartlets made from light, fragrant shortbread, baked to golden perfection. These Italian cookies are then filled with either a fruit jam or cocoa cream filling. Flavors include apricot, wild berry, cherry, and cocoa. They’re perfect for sharing at a party or enjoying as an after dinner treat. Try them with your favorite cup of tea or coffee.
Italian Wafers and Wafer Rolls
A variety of wafers and wafer rolls are made by Gastone Lago. Their wafers contain layers of smooth filling sandwiched between stacks of crispy, thin cookies. And their fragrant wafer rolls consist of a crunchy tube filled to the brim with cream. A wide assortment of flavors are available, including hazelnut, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and lemon. Pair these wafers with cheesecake or gelato for a luxurious dessert dish. Or try them in an indulgent sundae topped with a drizzle of caramel sauce and whipped cream.
