This elegant Italian dish comes together in just 20 minutes and is perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

17.5 oz Italian Potato Gnocchi
6 tbsp unsalted butter
12 fresh sage leaves
½ cup freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano
Freshly cracked black pepper

Sea salt, to taste
Optional: toasted walnuts for garnish
Directions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface, about 2–3 minutes.
Drain well.In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown and develops a rich, nutty aroma, about 4–5 minutes.
Add the sage leaves to the browned butter and cook for 30–60 seconds until crisp.
Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and gently toss until lightly golden and coated in the brown butter.
Remove from the heat and stir in the Parmigiano Reggiano. Season with black pepper and a pinch of sea salt.
Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and toasted walnuts if desired.
