Where does Nutella pizza come from?
The idea of the Nutella Pizza came about when the crepe stations emerged in tourist areas of Italy in the 1990s. Nutella wanted to increase their exposure so they would set up crepe stations outside cafes and bars enticing tourists away from the mandatory gelato!
What is Nutella famous for?
Nutella, invented by Pietro Ferrero and put on the market in 1964, is the Italian brand name for a gianduia cream containing cocoa and hazelnuts, and has become a true mass phenomenon. Nowadays, Nutella has become the best-selling spreadable cream in the world, with a production of 365,000 tons per year.

1 teaspoon instant yeast

3/4 cup warm water

2 tablespoons olive oil

Powdered sugar, for dusting

Directions
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Add the warm water and olive oil and stir until a dough forms.
Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel. Let it rise in a warm, draft-free place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle. Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet.
Bake the pizza for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Spread the Nutella evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edge.
Dust with powdered sugar, add fresh strawberries and slice into wedges to serve.
