Description
These Spanish Caperberries are packed with zesty flavor
Matured versions of Spanish capers, caper berries have a more developed texture and taste that's similar to olives.
Harvested in Spain, these fresh berries from the caper plant are preserved in a simple mixture of water, vinegar, and salt.
Love buying in bulk? This is our largest jar of Sanniti Caperberries, the mature version of Sanniti Capers. Capers are the small flower buds harvested from the plant before they are allowed to grow. Sanniti Caperberries are the fruit that ultimately come from the caper bush. They are salty and sour, with a taste similar to olives.
As with capers, these can serve as a wonderful part of any seafood dish. Try them on a crostini appetizer with cream cheese and smoked salmon. You can also pair them with salami, prosciutto, and other cured meats on a charcuterie board.
