Italian Balsamic Vinegar: A Rich History
The first barrels of vinegar were maintained and taken care of by Giuseppe Cattani's maternal great-grandfather, who was born in Modena for many generations, at the start of the 19th century. The House of Balsamic Modenese officially "became" when Giuseppe Cattani took over the first battery, which was a collection of barrels with various sizes. Giuseppe Cattani enjoys making balsamic vinegar and has continued to adore amassing barrel collections over the years.
